Silver Light Resources Ltd. was established in 2015 with a focus on wholesaling lumber and logs to South Asia communities.

In the early days, Silver Light partnered with Royal Pacific to develop trade routes from Georgia to South Asian countries, especially to China. Both companies grew at a double-digit pace in the following years and slowly transitioned from wholesaling lumber to log trading, then again to constructing a miniature-scale sawmill from the ground up.

Owner Yiwei Chen has more than a decade of experience in trading Southern Yellow Pine lumber and logs.

By becoming an associate member with the Southern Forest Products, Chen looks forward to continuing his passion to advertise the benefits of using Southern Yellow Pine lumber and logs in other parts of the world.
