Exhibit Space Now On Sale for Forest Products Machinery & Equipment Exposition, Returning to Savannah in 2027
The industry's longest-running tradeshow opens booth reservations for its August 18–20, 2027, edition at the Savannah Convention Center.
Metairie, LA - The Southern Forest Products Association (SFPA) today announced that exhibit space is now available for the Forest Products Machinery & Equipment Exposition (EXPO), set for August 18–20, 2027, at the Savannah Convention Center in Savannah, Georgia. Equipment manufacturers, technology providers, and service companies serving the forest products industry can now reserve their place on the show floor.
Hosted biennially by SFPA, EXPO is the longest-running tradeshow in the forest products industry, tracing its roots to the 1950 Logging and Sawmill Machinery Exposition in New Orleans. The 2027 event marks the show's first appearance in Savannah, placing it in the heart of the Southern Pine lumber community while keeping the event accessible and cost-conscious for exhibitors and attendees alike.
EXPO brings together decision-makers, mill operators, and industry leaders from across the hardwood and softwood sectors for three days of face-to-face business. Exhibitors showcase solutions spanning nearly every stage of wood products manufacturing, from raw material handling and crane operations to metal detection, scanning technologies, log optimization, drying, grading, sorting, packaging, and distribution. Recent editions have drawn well over 120 exhibiting companies and thousands of attendees who control major purchasing budgets.
Exhibiting at EXPO gives companies direct access to qualified buyers actively evaluating new machinery and technology, the opportunity to launch and demonstrate products before a concentrated industry audience, and a venue to build the lasting customer relationships that drive long-term business in the sector.
"Savannah places EXPO in the heart of the Southern Pine lumber community while preserving our commitment to a high-quality, accessible, and cost-conscious event,” said Eric Gee, Executive Director at SFPA. “Opening exhibit space now gives companies the runway to plan their strongest possible presence in 2027."
Space is assigned using a priority points system for SFPA members and returning exhibiting companies. Prime locations on the show floor are expected to move quickly. Companies interested in exhibiting can view floor plans, pricing, and reservation details at sfpaexpo.com or by contacting the SFPA EXPO team directly.
