September 2025 Southern Pine Lumber Shipments

Southern Pine lumber shipments in September totaled 1.902 billion board feet (BBF), 5% below August’s revised shipments of 2.004 BBF. September year-to-date shipments totaled 17.157 BBF.

 

In Memoriam: John Tyler McShan Jr.

McShan was the fourth-generation owner of McShan Lumber Co. and led the sawmill into the 21st Century.

Parliament Approves Second EUDR Delay

Large operators and traders must now be EUDR compliant starting December 30, 2026, while small operators, including individuals and enterprises with fewer than 50 employees and annual turnover of less than €10 million (or roughly $11.7 million USD), will have until June 30, 2027.
